Welcome to my jewellery page. Here you can find all of the various jewellery that I have for sale. Each piece of jewellery is completely handmade by me (Angela). I have a beautiful forest full of trees that I pick my select pieces from. I always try my best to use reclaimed wood whenever possible. Wood that you may see laying on the ground, or branches on a tree that are already dead by natural causes. Rather then taking live trees or branches, I try to help our earth by saving them. Once I select my wood I take it home and handsaw my pieces, hand sand them and some of them I preserve with an all natural oil and wax. Everything is done using no power tools whatsoever. This ensures that there are absolutely no fossil fuels used in the making of these, only human power. Not only does that leave no footprint but it also means that greater care and detail is put into each piece. One of the benefits of creating items this way is the uniqeness of each piece. No 2 pairs of earrings or pendants are alike. "Cherry Blossoms"
Made using reclaimed cherry wood. They are extremely lightweight and dangle gently from your ears. Fashioned with gold plated ear wire to accent the natural colour and grain of the wood.

These earrings are made using reclaimed White Spruce. Sanded and preserved using environmentally friendly methods. Then a silver plated ear wire is attached.

Wooden Pendant Au Naturale
Finally it is here and done. My wooden pendant that I posted about earlier. This pendant had taken me a bit of time to fashion, to get the right cut and smoothness. It is made out of White Spruce, I found a branch in the woods with an interesting burl on it. So decided to bring it home and cut into it to see what patterns lay beneath. Well the design that nature made was beautiful and couldn't have been anymore perfect. So I sanded it down until it was smooth, which also brought out the grain so well. I decided to leave this piece natural. Meaning I have put nothing on it for preservation. No oils or waxes. Not only to retain its original look but also because of the intricate details of the piece. That is why this one is part of my Au Naturale series of jewellery. The Au Naturale series requires more care and attention to keep it away from the elements and from damage but if you want to have a piece that is completely free of anything added to it then this is the way to go. Once the piece was sanded and ready to go I made a ring out of gold plated wire to attach to the cord. A leather cord was used to hang it from. The leather cord is totally adjustable so that it can sit high or low on your body or to fit people of various sizes.
